Many patients and friends find this comment still applies today.Even from back when I lived and was a student in San Francisco. Still lots of fun. “Doc, I think you have a touch of Delightful Madness”

Over 35 years ago a whimsical 90 year old patient told Ted, “Doc, I think you have a touch of Delightful Madness” as she winked. He replied “That’s marvelous, just think of the latitude that gives me for behavior!” Two years later this same delightful patient said: “Doc you have to operate on my bunions, they hurt when I dance.” Dr. Ted replied “Jeanie, you’re in your 90’s, why don’t we think about it and you know I’m not a magician!” She gave her whimsical wink and smile and said, “Honey, you take care of my feet, I’ll supply the Magic!” It appears this Magic has followed Ted in his fascination of Living in an Attitude.

“Every man should be allowed to love two cities, his own and San Francisco.” Gene Fowler
“Everybody should be allowed to love two cities, their own and San Francisco.” We are certain Gene wouldn’t mind.

After all these years, Dr. Ted still roams the streets of San Francisco playing his bagpipes.
